ZON processes personal data including in the following categories:
This data is obtained from you by ZON when you fill in contact forms, membership declarations, login to the systems offered by ZON and otherwise provide ZON with information. Furthermore, the servers of ZON automatically register data such as a URL, IP address, the type of browser you use, the language, date and/or identification numbers of computers, tablets or smartphones used by you.
The personal data stated above is processed for the following purpose's:
Your personal data will not be used for other purposes. The personal data can be shared within the ZON group (the operating companies referred to above) for the purposes stated above.
ZON may use third-party services for the processing of this personal data. These third parties will be subject to contractual obligations regarding the careful handling of your personal data.
Your contact details will also be provided to potential customers, including through the Websites.
In some cases, ZON is obliged to provide your personal data to the competent authorities in compliance with legislation and regulations.
Social media and third-party websites
Through its Websites, ZON offers possibilities to share information contained on the sites via social media, e-mail and other means of communication and to print this information. ZON has no control or influence over this and is not responsible for any further use of your personal data by third parties (including, for example, members and business relations).
ZON offers visitors to its Websites links to other websites, for example, websites of growers. ZON is not responsible for the information on websites to which visitors are redirected.
ZON does not store your personal data for any longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was processed. In most cases, this means that your personal data will be deleted no later than two years after the end of your relationship with ZON (or, for website visitors, after visiting the Websites). In some cases, ZON may be obliged to retain the (or: certain) personal data for a longer period in compliance with legislation and regulations (with a maximum of seven years after the aforementioned events).
ZON applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of your personal data, by which ZON aims to ensure that this data is not lost and/ or changed and to prevent third parties from obtaining unauthorised access to the data. The personal data, or other information you have provided us with, will not be disclosed and/ or stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
You have various rights pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For example, you can submit a request to ZON to access your personal data or receive a copy of the data, to have data corrected in the case of inaccuracies or incompleteness or to have data deleted if, for example, in your opinion it is no longer necessary to retain your personal data for the aforementioned purposes or, in your opinion, personal data has been processed in breach of legislation and regulations. In certain situations, you can also submit a request to restrict processing.
ZON will respond to your request within the applicable statutory period, normally within four weeks. You can also submit an objection to ZON and/or submit a complaint about the processing of your personal data. If this does not lead to a desirable outcome, you can also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority directly.
