Growers´ cooperatives and suppliers are working on a sustainable and resilient growing system within the 100% Green Growing project. The aim of this system is to grow fruiting vegetables without synthetic products where the goal is to be fully green and cost-effective by the end of 2026. The project consists of seven field pilots supported by specialists and Botany Group as the knowledge partner. This concerns bell peppers, tomatoes, aubergines and cucumbers.

The 100% Green Growing project is an initiative of the Federatie Vruchtgroenteorganisaties (FVO, Federation of Fruiting Vegetable Organisations), the partnership of trendsetters in fruiting vegetable cultivation. ZON is a proud part of this and contributes towards the project.

Two new employees are starting at ZON on 1 September.

Anky van Vegchel will be strengthening our team in her role as a Relationship Manager. She will be focusing on facilitating the growth ambitions of our growers in her role. She will use her dedication and commitment to contribute towards the further expansion of strong and durable relationships.

We are also welcoming a familiar face: Zakaria Dahmani. Last year, he was part of ZON´s traineeship programme and he has now successfully completed his Bachelor´s degree programme. He is now returning in the role of Junior Financial Controller.
