In this newsletter, we update you on the latest developments at ZON. As of today, we have started selling savory. In addition, we share an inspiring story about one of our growers, have entered into a new partnership, and have recently launched our employer branding video.

Auctioning products with grower identification

As you may have already seen in the Global Supply Information and in the auction screen, more and more products are being auctioned with the name of the grower displayed. This makes it immediately clear to clock buyers which grower the purchased product comes from. When products from multiple growers are offered, you can choose a specific grower during the auction. This allows us to better meet our customers’ needs.

Start auctioning savory

On Monday, June 1, we started auctioning savory via the clock sales. The product is supplied by De Kruidenaer, packed in flowpack and delivered in EPS T crates. Savory is the classic flavour partner for broad beans: aromatic, slightly peppery and perfectly balanced with the soft, sweet bean. A perfect match for the current broad bean season.

ZON has recently entered into a partnership with Hexafarms. Together, we are taking steps in data-driven cultivation. By using AI, cameras and sensor data, we gain better insight into the expected harvest.

Did you know that Z-online has the option of adding or changing your email addresses for receiving the circular letters, Global supply and monthly newsletter?
